Live Music Versus Digital

When searching for custom songs to be composed for film and video, one question has been growing in popularity as of late – should I use live music recordings or digital?

Nobody can argue about the quality of professionally produced tracks completed at a professional sound studio. Advances in technology however have increased the capabilities of many smaller studios and even home studios to create comparable music. Some may even argue that new software programs can give the same quality music for film as can be recorded by live instruments. I’m a true believer that nothing can capture the true soul of music better than live recordings. There just seems to be something missing in digital. When it comes to cost however, this loss may not make up for the added expense of paying for live music to be recorded.

Play Guitar Lessons

The guitar plays a vital role in music, no matter the genre. You can play electric or acoustic, it’s still a key instrument. Besides being an integral part of the music scene, it sounds great by itself! There’s no need for the band behind you. Of course, if you do want to play in a band, then the skill of guitar playing is easily marketable.

If you’ve chosen the guitar as an instrument you’d want to play, then you’ll have to decide on lessons to learn. For instance, if you’re fresh to the guitar, then you may find it to be pretty foreign and intimidating to learn. Don’t worry though, guitar lessons are easy to come by. The Pitfalls of Impressing Women

I’ve been performing mind reading and mentalism tricks on people for years and it took me a long time to realize something quite important about performing it on females if you want to actually impress them. There was one occasion where I learned the most from and I’ll share with you the story.

A couple of years ago I was at a friend’s house party. Naturally, like most gatherings I attend, a few of my friends pleaded with me to perform a few tricks for the guests. I say pleaded because they know I only perform when I’m in the mood to perform. Although I’m a performer by nature, to be truthful, sometimes I just cannot be bothered and don’t take kindly to people expecting me to perform like a monkey whenever they want me to.

What Does YOUR Name Reveal About You?

There are 3 different ways to discover the meaning of names. The first is to look at the origin of a name. For instance you can find that the surname Sears comes from sair, a carpenter or sawyer.

The second is to look up the meaning in a name book. This will give you definitions such as ‘Alex means Defending Men’ and ‘Talia means Dew of God’. Both of these methods will give you a very simple and short definition of the meaning of a name.

The third and in my view the most interesting and revealing by far is to work out the meaning of the name using Numerology. This will give you an extremely interesting insight into the meaning of names, and I will look at David Beckham’s name shortly as an example.

3 Tips on How To Take Good Pictures

Whether you use your phone camera or a high quality digital camera, here are a few tips to help you take better digital pictures.

Sometimes a scene comes too quick and you just have to act fast to try and catch the shot.

If you have the time though, think about how you want to frame your shot. What is it about the view that you want to capture and share with others?

Take an objective view of how the image appears on your screen. Are there any telephone poles sticking out ruining the shot? Can you move the camera over slightly to get an unwanted object out of the frame? Does Uncle Bob look like he has flowers sprouting out of his head because of the background behind him?
